Announcement of New Board Officers and Members

Children’s Grief Connection is delighted to announce the appointment of Roger Matza , CHEP USA , as new President of the Board of Directors; Alicia Carr,  Kelco Supply Co , as Vice President; Maria Cervantes , Funeral Directors Life Insurance Company , as Treasurer; and Carly Gaytan-Kiser , Schuller Family Funeral Homes.as Secretary. 

Children’s Grief Connection also welcomes the following new officers to the Board of Directors: Molly Cook , Hennepin County Human Services , Casey Gores , Casey Gores Realty , Joseph Morcomb , Totino Grace High School  and board officer for the Minnesota School Counselors Association , Michelle Schuleman , Ready Credit Corporation , and Ean Sinn,  Ballhorn Chapels.

“I am thrilled to be able to bring such a talented and committed group of professionals onto our board,” shared Alex Treitler, CGC Executive Director. “These individuals bring a wealth of experience and expertise in their fields and offer niche competencies in the areas of business development, communications and marketing. The energy that they have already shown will make a huge difference as we further our mission of connecting grieving families with hope.”

Children’s Grief Connection (CGC)  is a non-profit based in Saint Paul, MN serving families devastated by the death of a loved one.   Through the CGC  Hearts of Hope Family Grief Camps and associated programs, families make deep and lasting connections that bring healing and hope.
